Let’s first talk about kanelbulle!

In case you have no idea what is in the front page background photo. It is a dessert called “kanelbullein swedish, or cinnamon roll in English. I found the following from Wikipedia.

A cinnamon roll is a sweet roll served commonly in Northern Europe and North America …
In Sweden, the country of its presumed origin, the cinnamon roll takes the name of kanelbulle (literally: ‘cinnamon bun’).

Kanelbulle is a very nice dessert! It is rather symbolic as you can find it in almost any IKEA restaurant (IKEA is an international furniture giant, which is, another very good example of “made by Sweden“). I think I need to briefly mention Ingvar Kamprad the founder of IKEA who just passed away by the time our new webpage is online. A lot of inspiration from this highly horned. Bravo! Tusen tack!

By the way, the credit of the mouth-watering Kanelbullar photo goes to Otto Norin, a brilliant photographer who lives in Uppsala. I understand that I can use whatever picture I found from unsplash.com. I would still like to thank Otto in person! In case you reach this page:

Hej Otto, I am also a Kanelbullar lover. Let me buy you a FIKA (Wikipedia: Swedish pronunciation: [fiːka] is a concept in Swedish culture with the basic meaning “to have coffee”, often accompanied with pastries, cookies or pie.) in Uppsala, may I? If you have time, please contact me by filling in the contact form.
